Beach and Pool

Since being told Indy prepared a terrible meal the night before, Erick woke up early in the morning to cook breakfast. Being a natural cook, there was no way he was going to burn their food.

Ulrich decided not to interfere as he had confident in his brother’s cooking skill. Instead, he watched TV while waiting.

Oliver had a rough start. Their toilet was clogged, thanks to him. He tried his best to repair it while his four brothers munched on Erick’s cooking.

Oliver breaks the toilet.

After eating, all but Oliver left early for work. It was their second day and they were trying their best to impress their bosses and co-employees. Erick displayed his dissatisfaction with their cheap dishwasher as he went out. Oliver, who ate late, decided to take their new striped Lemon to work. It was Andy’s idea to buy a new car. However, it was Oliver who insisted on the design.

Their work went well except for Ulrich who became exhausted. He had not caught up enough sleep from his visit at the gym which ended late.

Erick had other plans. He checked out the Old Pier Beach. Seeing it would be a perfect setting, he made a plan.

“Would you like to spend the rest of the day here in Old Pier Beach?” Erick asked Tamara over the phone.

“Sure,” she responded.

Quickly, Erick grilled hotdogs. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his brother Oliver at the beach as well. “Outstanding,” he thought sarcastically.

Oliver approached a Dustin Langerak playing chess.

“Did you catch anything? Have you seen the sunset? Have you rummaged your bin? Do you like Indy? Have you brushed your teeth?” Oliver piled questions after questions.

Tamara finally arrived. She did not go to Erick right away and watched Oliver talking to Dustin. Without Erick nor Oliver noticing, Tamara left hastily.

Seeing Dustin getting freaked out, Oliver turned the conversation around and apologized. Dustin tried to calm down Oliver as he accepted the apology.

Meanwhile, Indy visited the Le Petit Shark Pool Center again. He had taken a liking to the place since not a lot of people visit it. He enjoyed the peace & solemn the place brings.

While Indy found peace at the pool, Ulrich found his on his bed. A busy work day drained him of his energy.

After a couple of hours enjoying the pool’s crystal clear water, Indy relaxed. He saw a young couple eating at the pool’s dining area. He heard his stomach growling and did not hesitate to get food from them.

He heard the young man discussing why he disliked marriage. Not wanting to interfere with the young couple’s conversation yet and wanting to eavesdrop on them, he sat on the table next to theirs. After both he and the couple finish their meals, he introduced himself to them.

Back at the beach, Erick was disappointed in being stood up. He tried to console himself by drinking at the beach’s bar.

Oliver, who had stopped bugging Dustin, settled on having a picnic. As witness to Erick’s disappointment, he invited him to join the picnic.

It was an awkward picnic as Oliver discussed marriage, romance, and dating.

Erick tried his best not to get angry. He knew his brother meant well and it was just his insane way of trying to cheer him up.

Back at their house, Indy had finally returned. As a neurotic Sim, he was not going to be happy with dirty dishes, unmade beds, and clogged toilets (thank you Oliver).

Perhaps, the meeting with the Wan-Goddard couple served as inspiration. Indy got a desire to improve his charismatic skills.

Charisma? Maybe Erick needed that too. Was the lack of it the cause of Tamara backing out of their “date”? Definitely, Oliver needed it as well as he seemed to rub most people the wrong way. How far will Indy’s charisma training take him though?

Oliver and Erick leave the beach.
